Genius Hour Post for April 7, 2014

I define success is sustained excellence. The people that are really success sustain that success over a long period of time. I think an area in  my life that I have been successful at is in the weight-room. I have achieved this success by being consistent. There's no way you can be successful in the weight-room by going once a week or going week then not going another. You have to consistently be on your grind. "I've learned from experience that if you work harder at it, and apply more energy and time to it, and more consistency, you get a better result. It comes from the work."-Louis C. K.

I define failure as the lack of consistency or hard work. I feel like I tend to fail in the classroom, because I don't consistency do my work and when I do my work it's not at an consistency quality. I think my laziness or lack of motivation is what's leading to my failures in the classroom. "I've learned from experience that if you work harder at it, and apply more energy and time to it, and more consistency, you get a better result. It comes from the work."-Joseph Addison

I'm not really sure is success or failure motivate me more, I actually think they motivate me in different ways. Failure motivates me to be successful, and success motivates me to stay successful. I believe it comes down to what I love, I love to lift weights so whether I experience failure or success I use it as motivated.

My goals for this blog was to inform and to learn as well. I think I have been successful at informing, but I have failed at consistently making a blog. I need to start blogging more so I can inform my audience. I will know if I succeeded on this project if people learned from my blog.r
